MERBAU

Character: Unclassified quality. Its tints and texture are the result of natural growth. Featuring few knots and practically no sapwood. There are significant variations in grain pattern and tint between individual parquet stripes, and has a characteristic yellowish deposition in the pores. Knot: Permitted, up to a diameter of 10 mm. Sapwood: Tangential sapwood is permissible, up to a few mm in width.
